The Intersection

What is it like to become a teenager right now?

Imagine two intersecting circles.

The first circle is Webkinz.

The second circle is facebook.

The intersection is age thirteen.

What were your intersections?

Thanks to El and her friend C. for the inspiration.

Hi Stefanie! What an interesting post - so true! Thanks for stopping by to comment. I hope that you will let me know what you and your girls think of Rebecca's devotional. And I hope that you come back to the creek to visit again. Be blessed!

El reminded me about how hard it is at age 13 to figure out whether you still want to be a kid or whether you want to be more grown up. Most days you want to do/be both. That's what I meant by the intersection.

I love this, so true.
My girls are very much into Webkinz right now, They turn 11 this week, so I know the intersection is close at hand.
My Intersection was Barbies and Fasion Magazines. (not to mention Boys)

Webkinz forever, I say! Wow, that is profound.

I'd have to say my first circle was security, and my second was divorce. Thankfully, the intersection, at age 13, was faith. I've always known Christ as the friend who understands.

I'm thinking you're rather sage. Either that or you're peeping in my windows!
